# Your WhatsApp Business Account is restricted from creating a new template

If you encounter the error: **"Your WhatsApp Business Account is restricted from creating a new template,"** follow the steps below to resolve the issue:

**Delete the Number From WA Manager:** Begin by removing the affected phone number from the WhatsApp Manager of the current WhatsApp Business account it's associated with.

**Register as a New WhatsApp Channel:** Next, re-register the number as a fresh new WhatsApp channel in a different WhatsApp Business Account.

* **Important Note:** Please be aware that proceeding with this action will result in the loss of your existing message templates and, if applicable, the green verification tick associated with your business account will also be lost.
