# How to do Base Sync settings of the Shopify Store ?

The new sync feature from Shopify to Ecom automatically adds new orders and products from Shopify to the Ecom infrastructure and WhatsApp catalog.

#### Sync Type

* **One-way**: Products and orders from Shopify will automatically be synced to Ecom.

#### Inventory Behavior Options

1. **Flexible inventory override (WhatsApp to Shopify)**: Updates stock in Shopify when a new order is placed in WhatsApp.
2. **Flexible inventory override (Shopify to WhatsApp)**: Updates stock in WhatsApp when a new order is placed in Shopify.
3. **Bypass**: Does not update inventory in either Shopify or WhatsApp.
