# Configure WhatsApp Business API with Tally

#### Step 1: Collect Required Credentials

Before starting, collect the following credentials from your panel:

* WhatsApp Business Account ID (WABA ID)
* Phone Number ID
* Access Token

#### Step 2: Open WhatsApp Setup

* Open **Gateway of Tally**.
* Click **WhatsApp Setup**.

#### Step 3: Enter WhatsApp Credentials

* Open the **Channel** section from your panel.
* Copy and enter the following details:
  * WABA ID
  * Phone Number ID
  * Access Token

#### Step 4: Save the Configuration

* Press **Alt + A** to save the configuration.
* Reopen the setup screen to verify that the details have been saved successfully.

#### Step 5: Verify the Connection

* Confirm that the WhatsApp connection is successful.
* The extension is now ready to sync WhatsApp templates and send messages.

#### Troubleshooting

If the connection fails, verify the following:

* The Access Token is valid and has not expired.
* The Phone Number ID belongs to the correct WhatsApp Business Account.
* The WABA ID is correct.
* Your internet connection is active.
