Enable / Disable Cart Functionality For WhatsApp API Number

You can control whether customers can add products to cart directly inside WhatsApp.

Steps to Enable / Disable Cart

  1. Go to Channels → WhatsApp Channel

  2. Click your WhatsApp Account (WABA)

  3. Open WABA Business Profile

  4. Go to Commerce Settings

  5. Toggle the Cart Option ON or OFF

When to Enable Cart

  • If you want customers to place orders directly from WhatsApp

  • For full e-commerce experience

  • When accepting in-chat purchases

When to Disable Cart

  • If you only want product discovery

  • For lead generation only

  • If orders are handled via website, CRM, or sales team

Note: Changes may take a few hours to reflect on your WhatsApp number.
