# Set Up WhatsApp Alerts in Calendar Booking

You can configure **WhatsApp alerts** to automatically send **booking confirmations, reminders, and updates** to the admin, host, or attendees.

#### Steps to Configure Alerts

1. Go to **WhatsApp Alerts** from the menu.
2. Click **Channel Templates** and select **Create WhatsApp Alert**.

#### Configure Alert Settings

* **Event Type (Trigger):**\
  Choose when the alert should be sent, such as **Booking Created, Updated, Cancelled, or Reminder**.
* **WhatsApp Channel:**\
  Select the connected **WhatsApp channel** from which the message will be sent.
* **Template Selection:**\
  Choose an **approved WhatsApp template** from your channel.\
  If needed, create a template in the **Channel section** first.
* **Map Template Variables:**\
  Fill in the required variables such as **Name, Phone Number, Email**, or other booking details.

#### Notification Preferences

Select who should receive the alert:

* **Admin**
* **Host**
* **Attendee**
* Or **All**

Example:

* **Booking Confirmation:** Send to Attendee
* **New Booking Alert:** Send to Admin & Host
* **Reminder:** Send to Attendee

Finally, click **Create** to activate the alert.

Once enabled, **WhatsApp messages will be sent automatically whenever the selected event occurs**, with booking details filled dynamically.
