# Order Status Message Block

The **Order Status Message Block** inside **Send Message** allows you to send automated order updates to customers. This helps reduce support queries by instantly informing users about the status of their orders.

It is commonly used in **e-commerce workflows** to send order tracking or status notifications.

#### How to Use the Order Status Message Block

1. Open your **Chat Flow** in the bot builder.
2. Click **Add Node**.
3. Select **Send Message → Order Status Message**.

#### Configure Order Details

4. Enter the **Body Text** for the message (e.g., “Find your order status below”).
5. Add the **Reference ID** of the order.
6. Enter the **Order Status** (for example: *Processing, Shipped, Delivered*).
7. Add the **Order Description**.

These fields can also be **mapped dynamically** if you have created and stored order-related fields earlier.

8. Click **Save Message**.

Once the flow is triggered, the user will automatically receive an order status update in the chat.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://helpdocumentation.gitbook.io/user/bot-builder/whatsapp-chatbot/message-blocks/order-status-message-block.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
